9:00 Opening Body PrayerIf the body is sacred, it only makes sense that education must include the body. This is done through body prayer, which includes dancing, drumming, Tai Chi, Yoga, chant and song, free movement, and various forms of prayer and meditation. Body prayer is playful and celebrates the body while stimulating both sides of the brain, facilitating full engagement of academic material. Body prayer is not a frivolous diversion (although that would not be /discouraged either) but a very practical pedagogical tool.
